Science & Silence

Definitions, Similarities and Differences

Definition of science: the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment.

Science is the research in order to understand the behavior of matter. It is the study of the physical phenomena and the quest and deep desire of the human mind to know, to understand how nature functions, what is the cosmos made of? How it came about? What caused the creation? Science has gone deep into the knowledge of the physical laws, of how mater behaves in different conditions, and has measured everything that can be perceived with our 5 senses. It is a miracle what science has achieved. In terms of health, in terms of the use of physical resources to produce physical power, in terms of communication and technology. Science however is still searching to discover how the physical creation came about. To do so, they break up matter in smithereens to arrive to the core that could have the knowledge of the first moment the physical universe started to exist. This has not been achieved yet, because the ‘breaking up’ is endless.

Definition of silence: Complete absence of sound.

Brief and to he point! However, it includes a meaning that we seem not to understand. In order to keep silent, we have to first have the thought to do so. To go into sound, we also have fist think about it. And since thought is the underlying factor of the decision, it has to be more powerful than the expression of sound or absence of sound. Therefore, thought that ‘produces’ silence is intangible and yet powerful, and silence ‘transmits’ this subtle power.
Similarities: Science and silence are both powers.

Sciences uses light to observe, it is the element most useful to science. A laser, which is concentrated light is able to reach far and to alter and dissect matter.

Silence uses the ‘light’ of the mind to observe. Concentrated mind turns the ‘light’ of thought into a laser that can reach far and affect he atmosphere where ever it is sent.
